Reinhard M. Grassmann received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mechatronics from the Leibniz University Hannover, Hanover, NI, Germany, in 2016 and 2018, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2025. 
For his Master's thesis, he was awarded the Honoree of the NiedersachsenMetall Foundation. 
His research interests include fundamentals in continuum robotics, machine learning, physical human-robot interaction, and embodied intelligence.
